Privacy Policy — Veyline
Last updated: October 7, 2026. This policy covers data handled by Veyline, the metered API subscription operated by Payload.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: the email address you provide at signup or checkout, plus your name/company if you contact us.
- Usage data: API operations you submit (endpoints called, timestamps, operation counts) for metering, quota enforcement, and service reliability.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card numbers — Stripe provides us only subscription status and identifiers needed for entitlement.
- Contact inquiries: name, email, company, and message when you use the contact form.
2. What we do not collect
We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising trackers on the Veyline page or API. API keys are stored as one-way hashes — we cannot recover a lost key, which is why it is shown once at creation.
3. How we use data
To operate the service (authentication, metering, quota enforcement), to bill your subscription via Stripe, to respond to support and sales inquiries, and to keep the service secure and reliable. We do not use your operational data to train models.
4. Sharing
We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Fly.io (hosting infrastructure), and authorities when required by law. No other third parties receive your data.
5. Retention
Usage records are retained per your plan's retention window, then aggregated or deleted. Account data is kept while your account is active; you may request deletion of your account data at any time via the contact form. Backups may retain copies for a limited period.
6. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). API credentials are stored as salted hashes. Access to production systems is limited and logged. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected customers of material breaches as required by law.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time via the contact form on the Veyline page. We respond within 30 days.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
